Entrevisté a Andy Weir, autor de The Martian, porque demostró el poder del libro digital en internet

Cuando inicié blogdeizquierda.com en 2011 una de las ideas que tenía era ayudarle a autores mexicanos a publicar sus libros en formato digital. Estaba y sigo estando convencido de que el libro digital es el futuro de la literatura y la mejor manera que puede tener un autor para darse a conocer y tener éxito comercial.

Esa es la razón por la cual entrevisté ayer a Andy Weir, autor de The Marcian (El Marciano), novela que inició como un texto digital que Andy escribía como pasatiempo en su sitio de internet sin fines monetarios, y que terminó no sólo en el número uno de la lista de best sellers del New York Times, sino que ahora también es una película dirigida por Ridley Scott.

We chat with Andy about his "Cinderella" story as an independent, self-publishing author, his short stories, his other novels, and a whole bunch of other stuff nobody usually asks him in other interviews. But we did ask him because we're a pain in the butt. And proud of it.
